It’s hard for most restaurants to get all their dishes right and the only recent exception to that case could well be ‘Al Habib Restaurant”. My boss Umer Khan decided to take us out to lunch at his new favourite restaurant and I must say this recommendation was top notch. The menu is quite extensive and they also have a special ‘Afghani Menu’.
These are some of the dishes that we ordered.
1. ‘Habibi Special BBQ Platter with Rice’ – SR. 110
2. ‘Chapli Kebab’ (2pc) – SR. 14
3. ‘Nalli Nehari’ – SR. 35
4. ‘Afghani Boti’ (4 seekh) – SR. 24

The ‘BBQ Platter with Rice’ is a great dish to order if you are part of a group of 3-4 people since this combines their BBQ’s (Kebabs & Botis’ along with Chapli Kebab, Half Shawaya chicken & Rice. The rice was fragrant and cooked perfectly and ticks all the boxes in terms of taste, variety and value for money.

We also ordered extra ‘Chapli Kebabs’ since we were a group of 5 and these were made to perfection. Succulent on the inside and seasoned beautifully and crispy fried on the outside along with fried green chillis serving as an accompainment that you could certainly do with.

Compared to most places, the ‘Nalli Nehari’ is quite affordable and delicious though I expected it to be thicker. It was tasty and they gave us a huge chunk of Nalli to go with it. Paired with the Butter Naan, the Nehari is perfect for this weather.

The ‘Afghani Boti’ was the only item we tried from the Afghani menu. The meat was seared perfectly and I loved that rich meaty flavour.

You guys should definitely be checking this place out and they have plenty of seating for families too.
If you want the ‘MENU’ make sure to request that in the comments and I will send it to you!
