‘Blue Strawberry Restaurant’ at Rezayat Village Compound – Khobar

I finally got to meet the newly married couple (It’s been a year almost) @dheerajnair89 and foodie wife @onehungrymallu and what better way to celebrate than to visit a place you had only heard of but never been to. The “Blue Strawberry Restaurant” in Rezayat Village was a place my ex-boss frequented and which I’ve…

Eating at ‘Raya Restaurant’ Michellin Guide Fame – Phuket, Thailand

Another Mark Wiens recommended joint, Raya Restaurant is located in Phuket town and serves up some delicate & scrumptious Thai Sino dishes. Set in a renovated Sino-Thai mansion with a hint of Portuguese (or so I was told) this place feels more like home than a well-known restaurant. I had planned this visit well in…

“Tom Yum Goong Banglamphu” at Khao San Road, Bangkok – June 2017.

I had Mark Wiens & EatingThaiFood.com as my guide for my trip to Thailand and after checking in at the hotel, I headed straight to Tom Yum Goong Banglamphu to try out their house special, Tom Yum Goong (ต้มยำกุ้ง). The first time I read about it on eatingthaifood.com, I was drooling all over myself and…

Thai Cuisine at ‘Phuket Restaurant’, Al Khobar

Now good Thai food is quite hard to find in Saudi Arabia. You don’t have many Thai’s working in Saudi Arabia thanks to a series of incidents but we are not here to talk about that. Phuket Restaurant to me, has to be the best Thai restaurant around. I was quite a big fan of…

Asian Fusion food at ‘Fushi Restaurant’, Al Khobar

The Fushi Restaurant Facebook page describes their food style as Asian Fusion. We decided to go ahead and find out for ourselves as to how good this place was and what this asian fusion was all about. Being the greedy “foodaholics” that we were, we decided to order a few items off their menu which looked interesting.…

@chicken.firrie
Today’s post is my version of the ‘Mehran Qorma Masala’ recipe by @mehranarabia using @tanmiahchicken. This is by far one of the best creations I’ve cooked till date and NO THIS IS NOT A PAID POST.
It wasn’t until last night that i finally got to try ‘Lucknowi Tunday Kebab’ or like my friend likes to call it, a close relative. With over 160 spices being used for the original ‘Tunday’ kebab, this variant was born out of an experiment that turned out to be a success.
@makbousexpress has been consistent with the quality of their food and it also happens to be one of the restaurants I regularly visit for takeaway even when the pandemic was in full swing.
Now that we are in a state of semi lockdown thanks to Covid-19 rearing it’s ugly head again, it’s back to the kitchen for Instagram wannabe chefs like me to experiment with cooking. I decided to try my hand at preparing ‘Chicken Ginger Masala’, a recipe I found on a packet of Mehran’s masala.
I had been wanting to try @foodie__suz ‘Kottayam Fish Curry’ recipe and since we had enough ‘ചൂര / Tuna’, @shareeka23 decided to give it a go.
