Big Chefs KSA – Al Khobar (2nd Visit)

It happened again. Sometimes making a decision on where to eat is the hardest of choices one has to make. Driving past Parker’s, I decided to check out the @entertainersa app (Almost always saves the day) and found that I had one more Main Course coupon left for @bigchefsksa. Parking is a little hard to…

Burgers at “The Hut Burger” – Al Khobar

I have mixed feelings about @thehutburger in Al Khobar. The staff aren’t very welcoming and the guy at the counter had to confirm if the burgers we ordered were available in the first place. We ordered the “Irish Burger” (250g) – SR. 48.30 (Drinks & Fries included), The “Mozzarella Cheese Burger” – SR. 34.65 &…

‘Berry Bomb Resto’ at Cherooty Road, Kozhikode

My dad was complaining about the lack of variety when it comes to food in Calicut and I do agree, to a certain extent. Most restaurants serve local cuisines apart from a few like M Grill, Brown Town, etc. Berry Bomb in Cherooty Road (@eatberrybomb) calls itself an Italian restaurant and to find out if…

Philly Cheese Steak from ‘Streat’ Food Truck – Khobar

I don’t think anyone had seen Food Trucks here in Saudi until a few years ago. The trend has since taken off and is doing well in the Sharqiya with numerous food trucks selling everything from Coffee to Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches. Yes, you heard that right and this is not just a one-off. My last…

Where to go for “Burgers” in the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia

Burgers were an alien concept to Saudi Arabia, but that changed dramatically with the emergence of fast food joints in the Kingdom. Beginning in the late 80’s, early 90’s to the Burger craze that the citizens of the kingdom are currently experiencing, it has become a household favourite with both kids and adult equally cherishing…

Burgers & Chicken Wings from “East Coast Wings”, Al Khobar

The “Fun in the Mouth” Boneless Wings from East Coast Wings KSA (SR.37) is worth a try. Made with Sriracha and Honey coated well over deep-fried pieces of boneless chicken, they are delicious and makes for a tasty appetiser. Though the sweetness overpowered the taste of Sriracha, it was still a wonderful combination. I would…

D’Meat Yard in Rakah, Saudi Arabia

D’Meat Yard (@dmeatyard) recently opened up in Rakah right opposite the Meed Petrol station and the weekend is the only time i get to try out new joints. With a simple 5-6 item menu on display, it was a bit quiet even during lunchtime. I ordered the D’Meat Yard Brisket Sandwich and for SR. 35…

@chicken.firrie
Today’s post is my version of the ‘Mehran Qorma Masala’ recipe by @mehranarabia using @tanmiahchicken. This is by far one of the best creations I’ve cooked till date and NO THIS IS NOT A PAID POST.
It wasn’t until last night that i finally got to try ‘Lucknowi Tunday Kebab’ or like my friend likes to call it, a close relative. With over 160 spices being used for the original ‘Tunday’ kebab, this variant was born out of an experiment that turned out to be a success.
@makbousexpress has been consistent with the quality of their food and it also happens to be one of the restaurants I regularly visit for takeaway even when the pandemic was in full swing.
Now that we are in a state of semi lockdown thanks to Covid-19 rearing it’s ugly head again, it’s back to the kitchen for Instagram wannabe chefs like me to experiment with cooking. I decided to try my hand at preparing ‘Chicken Ginger Masala’, a recipe I found on a packet of Mehran’s masala.
I had been wanting to try @foodie__suz ‘Kottayam Fish Curry’ recipe and since we had enough ‘ചൂര / Tuna’, @shareeka23 decided to give it a go.
